The Cable Cubby® 100 is a compact, round furniture-mountable cable access enclosure for AV connectivity and AC or USB power. Ideal for single-user applications, it has connectivity openings for two single-space MAAP™ Mini AV Connectivity Modules, one Retractor module, or three AV cables. Non-powered versions accommodate up to four single-space MAAP AV  modules  or two AV modules and a pass-through plate. The Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit includes an integrated push-button switch for Show Me®, push to talk, or mute mic options. Each enclosure allows cable servicing and MAAP modules from the top after installation. Its round shape makes integration fast and easy using a 4" (102 mm) hole saw. A cover plate conceals mounting screws, giving a refined appearance. The Cable Cubby 100 is available in black.

The Cable Cubby 100 is equipped with a number of Extron-exclusive, integration friendly features for fast assembly and installation. It includes standard connectivity brackets for mounting four single-space MAAP modules, or two double-space MAAP modules and either three AV cables, or one Retractor module. The Cable Cubby 100 enclosure’s modular design allows cables and MAAP modules to be installed or serviced from the top of the enclosure after it is installed. The Cable Pass-Through Bracket features a unique, split-ring design that facilitates cable installation while eliminating the need for separate cable grommets. Its convenient round design eliminates the need to measure or use a routing template, making installation quick and easy using a standard four inch (102 mm) hole saw.

To support the growing use of smartphones and tablets in AV presentation environments, the Cable Cubby 100 USB Power features two 5 VDC USB power outlets with 3.0 A / 15 watts of total power for charging mobile devices. The Cable Cubby 100 USB comes with a ZipClip® 100 Mounting Kit to securely mount an Extron power supply onto most surfaces, including tables and lecterns.

The Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit features a one-button contact closure panel for Show Me, push to talk, or mute mic applications. The brushed stainless steel pushbutton features a raised surface for ease of access and tactile feedback, and an LED ring that provides illumination for visual feedback. Users can easily select inputs directly from the Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit, without having to use the switcher’s front panel controls. The Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit is compatible with Cable Cubby 100 US AC, Cable Cubby 100 USB Power, and Cable Cubby 100 cable access enclosures.

The Cable Cubby 100 Retractor Bracket is available to support one Retractor Series cable retraction module. Cable Cubby 100 is ideal for a single-user solution with AC or USB power and Retractor USB-C cable retraction module that contains AV, data, and USB-C power in a small and convenient enclosure. The Retractor Bracket is sold separately.

Custom Configuration

 

The Cable Cubby 100 encosures allows a total of four single-space MAAP modules between the top and bottom openings. The cable pass-through module holds up  to 3 cables and can be mounted in the top or bottom opening. Alternatively, it can accommodate one retractor module in the bottom opening. The top opening holds two MAAP - AV module or a cable pass-through plate.

 

To quickly customize power and AV connectivity selections for a Cable Cubby 100 installation, the Cable Cubby Builder is an interactive tool that guides the user through the selection of AC power modules, AV connectivity, cables, and installation accessories. As you build your Cable Cubby, a bill of materials is prepared automatically.
