Extron Control Associate Program

The Extron Control Associate Certification program is designed to provide recognition to individuals who understand the best practices for the planning, design, and implementation of single-room Extron configurable control systems. The educational components of this program build on our popular Extron AV Associate Certification, which includes intensive training on AV technologies, products, and applications. AUDIENCE This program is ideal for individuals who are required to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot AV control systems, including design engineers, system integrator installers, system integrator project managers, control system programmers, and sales professionals. PREREQUISITES

• Successful completion of the Extron AV Associate Certification Program
• Successful completion of the Extron Configurable Control System Course
  • Instructor led or Online

DELIVERY METHOD The Extron Control Associate course is available either online or through instructor-led training at one of our various institute locations around the country. To achieve certification, students must also pass an Extron-proctored hands-on exam. COURSE CONTENT The Control Associate Certification program consists of the following general categories:

• Simple control system design
• TouchLink™ template modification using GUI Configurator software
• TouchLink™ System configuration with Global Configurator software

Complete the Extron Control Associate Certification Program and receive:

• Prerequisite qualifications for future advanced courses & Extron Certification Programs
• An official Extron Electronics ECA polo shirt
• Authorization to place the professional designation ''ECA Certified'' after your name on a company business card, résumé, and/or related stationery. See Placement Guidelines for details.
