The Netlink
family of products is a range of telecommunications testing
products. Target market is Telcos, Phone maintenance companies,
Private cabling contractors involved with large private phone
networks.

Tone
generating and tone tracing test set.
This pair of tools will enable a
skilled or unskilled person to safely trace a single cable even
when it is embedded in with a bundle of cables.
This unit will also check the
polarity of the phone line.

Netlink 210
Pipe and Cable
locator. This instrument will allow underground cables and pipes
to be located and traced. The unit is capable of detection to a
maximum of 5 metres. Readout is digital and rechargeable
batteries are available.

424 & 425
These
instruments are used in conjunction with the handheld Netlink
423s. Normally the 425 is permanently installed in all telephone
exchanges.
The 424 is a portable version which
can be quickly setup in small or private exchanges. Both units
will perform the automatic testing that 2 Netlink 423s would
normally perform.
This enables one technician to test
one location to it’s local exchange then test the other location
to it’s local exchange. This will immediately identify which
“leg” of the phone connection is faulty and provides full
recording of all test results.

The EDL
NETLINK
423 Tester is a portable hand-held
instrument which automatically tests the end-to-end performance
of the telecommunications network.
It was designed to allow a single operator to perform in a few
minutes, a complex series of telecommunications measurements
which previously required at least 2 experienced technicians, a
number of conventional laboratory test instruments, and several
hours to perform.
In conjunction with the EDL Comlink Software programs, the
instrument provides Network Service providers with the tools to
maintain and improve the quality of service of their networks,
and at the same time to increase productivity, reduce service
calls and identify network problems before they become customer
complaints.
